About the Arts4Giving Fundraising Project

This is a competition with a difference

We are looking for imaginative children's stories that will entrance readers of all ages

With support from the Arts4Giving team Sandy Damon is launching this writing competition to publish a Story Book with a difference   -  YOUR stories, her paintings.  Together a book can be created to be sold to raise funds for the wonderful  The Prem Rawat Foundation "Food for People Program"

UPDATE: More local to Arts4Giving, in the wake of the Covid pandemic,

we have also chosen to raise funds for The Trussell Trust

Every picture tells a story

Choose a Picture from the Children's Story Picture Gallery and write a complementary story to your chosen picture.  Our gallery has twelve images to choose from.

This is a competition with a difference - Each picture will have two winners: One from each category;  Section A: Under 16 years and Section B: 16 years +

We welcome entries from writers across the continents and look forward to stories from different cultures, styles and voices. There is no age limit.  All entries must be written in English.

Winners will receive a copy of a beautifully printed book containing all the pictures from the picture gallery and the winning stories.

Have fun and let your imagination FLY

Thank you to everyone for joining us in this fun and creative project.  All profits from the sale of our book will be divided between The Prem Rawat Foundation "Food for People Program"   (international) and The Trussell Trust. (United Kingdom)

 Supported by Austin Macauley Publishers

We are living in times of great uncertainty and the Coronavirus Pandemic has exacerbated the difficulties faced by the most vulnerable people in our society, particularly children.  Across the five continents, children are living in poverty with no access to clean water, nourishing food or education and for some their only experience of life is the misery of conflict, cold and hunger.
